Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine. It maintains the bodily systems. It emphasizes on herbal diet, holistic medicine, and yoga. It basically names seven tissues. They are plasma, blood, muscles, fat, bone, marrow and semen. Ayurveda has historically divided bodily substances into five classical elements. It also has twenty gunas or characteristics that defines the way a person behaves.  It has a major role of three elemental substances known as the doshas. They are Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Balance and domination of these doshas results in the kind of health any individual has. Imbalance of these doshas results to illness.

 

 

Ayurveda suggests that in order to have a good health, one must follow a daily routine. The daily routine is called “Dincharya”. This helps you to keep a balance in your doshas preventing illness. Daily routine, according to Ayurveda is the stronger healing force than any other medicine. It also tells us about the changing of routine according to season.

Ayurveda believes that lifestyle of a person is crucial for a good health. Ayurvedic Lifestyle is easy to follow and brings about complete healthy development in a person. Brushing the teeth daily, waking up early and going to walk, drinking a cup of warm water in the morning to remove the toxins are some of the elementary pointers of Ayurvedic lifestyle.

It strictly emphasizes on intake of meals at a set time. This helps to maintain the functioning of the body systems, specially the digestive system. Exercise is another wing of Ayurvedic Lifestyle. Daily exercises help in increasing the physical strength and stamina. It also makes us happy and relaxed.
