Celebrating World Yoga Day!

Yoga with Swati and Medhya cordially invite you to an interactive and rejuvenating experience on World Yoga Day! Come join us to learn, share, and explore how you can stay in the best shape of your health with Yoga and Ayurveda.

An hour long session on practicing reviving yogic postures will be followed by a treat on Medhya super nutritious bites!!

Venue: Newton Gems, Singapore

Timings: 4 PM – 6 PM

Requirements: Please bring your yoga mat, towel, and a bottle of water

Yoga session will be covering: Sun Salutations, Pranayama, Meditation, and various Asanas

Every year June 21 is marked as the World Yoga Day as it is the longest day of the year and has special significance in many cultures across the world. Celebrations commenced since 2014, when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the idea at UN General Assembly. An excerpt of his speech is below:

“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. This tradition is 5000 years old. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting a World Yoga Day.”
