One of the ingredients used in the recipe is almond butter. It is used in a small quantity but the benefits are infinite. Almond is the main ingredient of almond butter and it is an energy-providing-nut for our body. The protein content of almond butter is helpful for the generation and repairing of body tissues. A diet which has almond content in it also helps in reducing weight and also in managing it.

The main ingredient, butter, is also healthy if taken in moderate amount. It is a good source of Fatty Acid Butyrate which helps in weight loss, gives relief in IBS, calms inflammation, and much more. Butter has the potential to lower the risk of heart attacks. It is also proven that high-fat dairy does not increase the risks of diseases related with metabolism. They, in fact, reduce the chances of obesity.

There are advantages of eating sun-dried tomatoes as well. It contains healthy nutrients like protein and fibre. It has Vitamin B which converts the food into energy which keeps our skin healthy. Vitamin K helps in blood clotting and regulates blood mineralization. Calcium and phosphorus combine to help in bone-building. Vitamin C boosts the immune system and Vitamin A works as an antioxidant. Calcium is there to stimulate the contraction of heart muscles and regulates blood pressure too along with magnesium.

INGREDIENTS: Homemade Butter – Spicy and Tangy

Serves: 5-6 persons

  • 100 grams butter
  • 50 grams almond butter
  • 50 grams sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 Tsp. rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • Rock Salt as per your taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION: Homemade Butter – Spicy and Tangy

Time of preparation: 10-15 minutes

  • Take butter as well as almond butter and melt it to room temperature.
  • Chop the tomatoes, rosemary and mince the garlic. Add them to the butter mixture.
  • Add red pepper flakes and rock salt to it. Mix the contents well.
  • Refrigerate it till it thickens.
  • Enjoy your spread later.
